What is the backorder service? 

With the Backorder service you can acquire a Domain .GR or .ΕΛ that has expired and which is in the "quarantine" process for 15 days from its expiration date. At the end of this 15 day "grace" period, the Domain is released and available for new registration.
The exact release time of a Domain name depends on the respective Registry.

How do I buy this service? 

Through the dynamic management control panel we offer you, you can add Backorder to any domain you wish.
The process is performed in real time. You can add this service even 15 minutes before the release of a domain.

How does this work? 

The service has 10 slots for each Domain. Each slot can correspond to a prospective customer who wants to register that Domain. When buying it, you can choose as many slots as you want. In case you buy all 10 places then you will be the only candidate for the registration of this Domain and our company will not accept any other user who shows interest in the same Domain. If you only buy one place, then there is a chance that the available places will be bought by other candidates, so you share the chances of success. In the management system we offer you, you can see in real time the whole evolution of the backorder for the Domains you have chosen.
In this way, you are immediately informed if another user has bought one or more slots from any available slots of the Domain that you have chosen.
At the moment the Domain is released, the easy.gr system automatically forwards your order to the Registry as many times as you are entitled to according to the number of places you have.

How much does it cost? 

The one-time cost of using the Backorder service for each domain is €20 + VAT, regardless of whether the domain is finally registered or not.
The cost of registering the Domain follows the price of the respective TLD. Each slot costs €20 + VAT.

What happens if the backorder service fails or gets canceled?

If the backorder mandate is canceled or if the registration fails, the costs incurred for the slots and the registration are automatically refunded in whole in the form of credits. In case of success in registering a domain, there is no refund and the domain is automatically added to your tab to manage.

How about transparency? 

Transparency at all levels of our cooperation is a basic principle of our company. You can see the progress of the process at any time. Even for each application sent to the .GR Registry, you receive an e-mail with its protocol number. This way you can easily count the total number of applications according to the slots you had bought. In case the Domain is registered by another user, by another registrar or renewed by the existing owner before its expiry, then you receive an update and the process is automatically canceled and the money is returned in the form of Credits.
